How can you collect more stardust in Pokémon Go?
This is an issue I find myself in a lot, and it occasionally prevents me from evolving or powering up some of my pokémon. This can make completing high-level raids and PVP quite tricky! Due to my recent stardust shortages, I’ve only been able to unlock one extra charge move on only one of my pokémon.
Ways to Collect More
If you have a lot of pokécoins, the shop can’t directly help you build up your stardust supply. Starpieces can only be purchased in the shop, but you won’t collect lots of stardust if you use them at the wrong times, or even keep them sitting in your bag!
Whether or not you have starpieces, a great way of collecting stardust is to increase your volume of activities that reward you with stardust. Luckily there are many ways to do this!
Go on a Catching Spree!
One excellent method is to catch as many pokémon as you can, though this can be tedious. My personal favorite way to accomplish this is by buying 8 incense from the shop, for just 250 pokécoins, and using those incense along with my Pokémon Go Plus to catch lots of pokémon quickly.
With the base reward being 100 stardust, in about a half-hour, I can routinely collect more than 3000 stardust! You can receive even more if you are catching weather boosted pokémon, or evolved pokémon in the wild.

Be Consistent
Make sure that you are consistently catching pokémon throughout the week. You receive 600 stardust for the first catch of each day, and for catching at least one pokémon seven days in a row, you will receive 3000 stardust!

If you are really consistent, and on top of your field research tasks, it can be easy to complete one daily. If you are forgetful, I would recommend focusing on the weekly catch bonus because that will reset if you aren’t careful.
Hatch Eggs
While you are out catching lots of pokémon with your Pokémon Go Plus, you should make sure you have purchased incubators and are keeping them all in use. There are very high rewards for hatching all kinds of eggs!

Watch for Stardust Events!
Stardust events can be a great help for anyone, so be sure to look out for them and remember to take advantage of the opportunity before the events are over!
