The first thing that you might notice about your lucky pokémon is that it will have a different stardust cost than that of your regular pokémon of the same level and species. To be precise, lucky pokémon have half the stardust cost than that of regular pokémon. If you’ve been following our stardust collecting tips, then you will surely have enough to bring your lucky pokémon to their maximum potential.
IV Bonuses
One less visible bonus of lucky pokémon is their IV bonus. At the current time, lucky pokémon are guaranteed to have IV’s of 12/12/12. That, combined with the halved stardust cost, makes lucky pokémon an incredible addition to your collection!
How to get lucky pokémon
If you aren’t aware, the only way to acquire lucky pokémon is by trading with your friends. Though the odds of receiving a lucky pokémon right away are rather low.
